Big blow to PCB, ICCT 20 rankings came to light


After 27 months, Pakistan has slipped three places to fourth in the T20 rankings. Defeats in the series against Australia and Sri Lanka led to a decline in the national team rankings. Pakistan came in first position in T20 in January 2018.
According to the ICC rankings, Australia is ranked first, India second and New Zealand third in the T20. Pakistan is fourth and South Africa is fifth.
 In the T20 rankings, New Zealand is sixth, Sri Lanka is seventh, Bangladesh is eighth, West Indies is ninth and Afghanistan is tenth.
In the ODI rankings, Pakistan retains the sixth position, followed by England first, India second, New Zealand third, South Africa fourth, Australia fifth, Bangladesh seventh, Sri Lanka eighth, West Indies ninth and Afghanistan 10th.
According to the ICC's annual rankings, India has slipped two places from third to third in Test cricket.
Australia has also secured the first position in Tests after T20. New Zealand is second, India is third, England is fourth, Sri Lanka is fifth, South Africa is sixth, Pakistan is seventh, West Indies is eighth, Afghanistan is ninth and Bangladesh is tenth.
