Corona virus, the number of patients in Sindh exceeded 10,000

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has said that for the first time in the history of Sindh, a maximum of 1,080 new cases have been reported in 24 hours.

Giving a briefing on Corona, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that the number of Corona patients in Sindh has reached 10,771 while 4 Corona patients died today, bringing the total number of deaths to 180. He said that we did 5,498 tests out of which 20% ie 1080 cases came positive.

Murad Ali Shah said that 583 corona cases were reported in Karachi in one day while the number of corona patients in Karachi has reached close to 8000. 113 new cases were reported in Corona while 78 cases were reported in Central District, 61 in Korangi District and 55 in West District.

The Sindh Chief Minister said that 246 cases came positive in Pir Jo Goth of Khairpur after which he directed to tighten the lockdown. I am deeply saddened by the situation in Sindh. We have to have pity on ourselves. He said that the number of corona cases in Sindh is increasing rapidly and we need to be more careful. Murad Ali Shah said that we are locked down. Have entered Phase II and now we have to follow the SOPs to prevent Corona.
