According to official figures, 1974 cases have been reported in Pakistan in the last 24 hours. The previous day, on May 16, the number was 1,352.

So far, the highest number of victims has come from Sindh province where the number of victims is 16,377 while the highest number of 318 deaths has occurred in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

So far 11,922 people in Pakistan have recovered from the disease
