The Interior Ministry has issued instructions for the fourth phase of the lockdown, under which all domestic and international flights will remain banned until May 31.
The curfew will continue from 7 pm to 7 am. Spitting in public places and offices will be fined
In India, meanwhile, about 5,000 positive cases of corona have been reported in the last 24 hours, the record for most positive cases in a single day.
It should be noted that India has surpassed China in Corona cases from where Corona started spreading in December last year.
According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of positive cases of corona in India has risen to 96,169, while the total number of deaths has risen to 3,029.
There have been 154 deaths in the last 24 hours.
The western Indian states of Maharashtra and Gujarat together account for about half of the corona-positive cases in the country, and these two states have higher mortality rates than any other region.
The total number of cases in Maharashtra has been more than 30,000 while more than half of the deaths in India have been in Maharashtra.
The total number of victims in Gujarat is more than 11,000 while the death toll is more than one thousand. It is followed by Tamil Nadu with more than 10,000 victims and about 500 dead. The fourth capital is Delhi.
In the fourth phase of Ak Down, a limit of 50 people has been set for weddings while 20 people have been allowed to attend funerals.
The central government has left the decision of transport to the discretion of the states so that inter-state transport can be decided jointly. Masks must be worn in all public offices.
The Delhi Chief Minister has said that his government will soon issue its instructions on lockdown. The same is expected of other state governments.
On the other hand, schools, colleges and other educational institutions across the country will remain closed, stadiums will open but spectators will not be able to go. The gym will also be closed.
In addition, restrictions will be imposed on all social, political, sports, entertainment, academic, cultural and religious events.
