KARACHI(Pakistan): The Sindh Chief Minister has given permission to open business from 9 am to 3 pm on Monday to Thursday during Ramadan.


Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah chaired a meeting on business SOPs during Ramadan in which Saeed Ghani, Imtiaz Sheikh, Mukesh Chawla, Nasir Shah, Advisor Murtaza Wahab, Chief Secretary Mumtaz Shah, IG Police Mushtaq Mehr and Others attended.

In the meeting, the Sindh Chief Minister said that even during Ramadan, there will be a lockdown after 5 pm and the Respect Ramadan Ordinance will continue.

 The Chief Minister announced that business would be open from 9 am to 3 pm on Monday to Thursday and grocery shops would remain open from 8 am to 5 pm.

He said that cooked food would be delivered from 5 to 10 pm and there would be no home delivery service in the morning.

Murad Ali Shah said that the Home Department would issue a SOP and a notification for business activities in which the time would be stated.

It should be noted that the number of corona virus cases in Sindh is more than 3900 and so far 73 people have died out of which more than half of the deaths have been reported from Karachi.
