Record 97 deaths in Pakistan in last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, there have been a record 97 deaths from the corona virus in Pakistan, bringing the death toll from the virus to 1935 and the number of victims across the country to 93983.

Punjab is the most affected province with 35308 victims and 659 deaths. After Punjab, the number of victims in Sindh is 34889 while the number of deaths is 615.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has 12,459 victims and 541 deaths while Balochistan has 5,776 victims and 54 deaths.

Pakistan-administered Kashmir has 331 victims and eight deaths, while Gilgit-Baltistan has 897 victims and 13 deaths.

The death toll in Pakistan's federal capital Islamabad is 4,323 while the death toll is 45.

The administration has sealed off about nine areas in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad, following an increase in corona virus cases and a lack of safety precautions in some areas.
