ISLAMABAD: A meeting of the National Coordinating Committee (NCC) chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan will be held today to decide on further easing or tightening of partial lockdown.

According to sources, the schedule of the National Coordinating Committee has been changed, according to which the meeting to be held on Sunday will now be held on Monday at 4.30 pm.

The meeting of the National Coordinating Committee will be attended by four Chief Ministers, Federal Ministers, National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), provincial and Ministry of Health officials.

The meeting will decide on further tightening or easing of the lockdown and will discuss the corona virus epidemic situation and disease prevention strategies.

A report on the treatment and medical equipment of Corona patients will also be presented on the occasion.

Earlier, a meeting of the National Coordinating Committee on May 7 announced further easing of the lockdown from May 9, and Prime Minister Imran Khan said, "We have decided to open the lockdown in stages from May 9." What we have decided is what we have done together with all the provinces

The Prime Minister said that the people have to take responsibility, if they want to get out of this difficult stage, the government will not speak loudly, what can the government and the police do? Should we catch people and put them in jails and test them there, no government can do that.

After this, on the occasion of Eid, the Supreme Court had also ordered to open all businesses and shopping malls throughout the week, after which all businesses and shopping malls were announced to be open till 5 pm.
