Will curfew be imposed in Sindh?


The Sindh government has ruled out imposing a curfew in the province after Eid-ul-Fitr.

Sindh government spokesman Murtaza Wahab vehemently denied the rumors circulating on social media about the curfew in the province, calling it baseless. Murtaza Wahab said that people should not listen to misleading news and take precautionary measures. He appealed to the people to support the government in preventing corona and not to leave their homes unnecessarily.

On the other hand, Dr. Zafar Mirza, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Health, has announced a review of the decision to ease the lockdown after Eid. He said that the number of cases and deaths of corona in Pakistan has increased in recent days, the people are not taking precautionary measures, so the decision to ease the lockdown after Eid will be reconsidered.
