When will the corona virus medicine 'Remedicivir' be available in Pakistan?

Following an agreement with a US pharmaceutical company, Feroz Sons, a Pakistani company, has begun preparations to develop the only approved drug, Remedicivir, to help treat Corona.
In an exclusive interview with Urdu News, Dr. Ajmal Nasir, Technical Director, BF Bio Feroz Sons, said, “The agreement with the US company is very good news for Pakistan, which will make cheap Corona medicine available in Pakistan, but there are still some legal issues. It can take three to four months to fix and start production

It may be recalled that the US company Gilead has announced that it has signed licensing agreements with five companies in India and Pakistan, including Feroz Sons, for the development of the drug 'Remedicavier', which helps in the treatment of corona. Under the agreement, the companies will be able to manufacture and sell the drug in 127 countries around the world.
Addressing a media briefing in Islamabad on Friday, Dr Zafar Mirza, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Health, had also promised to manufacture the drug in Pakistan and said that it would be exported to 127 countries.
Asked about the price of the medicine, Dr Ajmal Nasir told Urdu News that he could not fix the final price yet, but assured that his company would sell the medicine at a lower price as per its policy.
Our company's policy is to provide low cost medicines to the people of Pakistan. That is why our company has already provided cheap medicines for the treatment of hepatitis in Pakistan from all over the world.

His company has already developed a questionnaire in collaboration with Gilead and its product quality is globally certified.
Initially, the medicine will be manufactured at the company's factory in Lahore, while a new factory will be set up soon to increase production.
The FDA approved the drug for emergency use on May 2, according to the FDA.

There is no miraculous cure for Corona, but according to the American company, in experimental use in many hospitals around the world, Corona virus eliminates symptoms caused by Corona virus in ten days instead of fifteen days. ۔ '
 This antiviral drug was originally developed as a treatment for Ebola, but it did not prove to be very helpful in the treatment of Ebola.
Referring to the trial of this drug in Pakistan, Dr. Nasir said, Pakistan's drug agency DRAP (Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan) generally approves FDA approved drugs after its review and usually no trial is conducted. 

He said that the technology would soon be transferred by the American company while the company has the full support of the government of Pakistan so they do not see any obstacle in the manufacture of the drug.
Dr. Nasir said that due to the manufacture in Pakistan, not only will the medicine be available cheaply in the country but its export to other countries will also provide valuable foreign exchange to the country.
