Wheat worth billions of rupees stolen in Sindh, where the government raided and seized thousands of sacks? You may be surprised to know


The Sindh government recently raided a cotton factory and recovered 25,000 sacks of wheat stored there. According to ARY News, the cotton factory is located in the Hala area, which was raided by Sindh Food Authority officials. The exported wheat has been shifted to the government warehouse and a case has been registered against the owner of the cotton factory.

According to the report, wheat worth Rs 7 billion has been allegedly stolen in Sindh, on which NAB chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal has ordered an inquiry. Wheat from a cotton factory was also allegedly stolen. The Sindh government had referred the case of theft of wheat worth Rs 7 billion from its own warehouse to NAB and asked it to investigate, on which DG NAB Sukkur has been directed to investigate.
