Lockdown extends to June 1 in the UK with some flexibility

The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson has said in his speech that this is not the time to end the lockdown, however, some primary schools and shops may reopen from June 1. He has also introduced Kodo-19 alert system in the country

This alert system will rate the corona virus threat at levels one to five, and will continue to change over time through data.
In his speech, Boris Johnson said it was not time to end the lockdown, but that some primary schools and shops could reopen from June 1, according to AFP.
"Although the lockdown is not ending, government measures are being carefully modified," he said.
He added that those who do not work from home will be encouraged to go to work from Monday, while from Wednesday people will be allowed to exercise outside the home following social distance guidelines.

"You can sit in the sun in your local park, go to other places, you can even take part in sports, but only with your family," said Boris Johns.
Explaining the details of the alert system, the Prime Minister said: "There will be five alert levels. The first level means that there is no corona virus in the country while the fifth level means that the situation is very serious."
"We were at level four during the lockdown, but thanks to your sacrifices, we are now in a position to move up to level three," he added.
The British prime minister also said that quarantine restrictions would soon be imposed on those entering the country by air travel from abroad.
Prior to the speech, the British Prime Minister had instructed the people to be alert to deal with the threat of corona virus in a tweet.
