ISIS central leader in South Asia and the Far East has been arrested
Omar Khorasani, a key leader of ISIS in South Asia and the Far East, has been arrested in Afghanistan.
The Afghan Intelligence Service says it has arrested Zia-ul-Haq alias Sheikh Omar Khorasani, along with two others, after interrogating four recently captured ISIS members. His associates include Sohaib, a spokesman for Khurasani, and Abu Ali, the intelligence chief.
It should be noted that ISIS has been involved in bombings in many other areas, including the capital of Afghanistan. The Taliban call themselves anti-ISIL. The Taliban have not carried out large-scale attacks since the agreement with the United States, but ISIL has carried out several bombings.
