India: 30 truck workers killed in traffic accident
It should be noted that in the cities of the northeastern states of India, miserable and starving workers are seen walking with bags or bundles on their shoulders and heads and social media is full of their pictures.
Local media have reported that the workers have run out of money but are leaving in search of rain and sunshine or day and night.

In the last 24 hours, about 4,000 new cases have been reported, bringing the total to 86,000, while the death toll from Corona has risen to 2,752.
At least 30 migrant workers were killed when two trucks collided in India's largest state of Uttar Pradesh on Saturday morning. Several workers were also injured in the accident.
According to the ANI news agency, the workers were traveling in a truck from the western state of Rajasthan to Orya district of Uttar Pradesh when their vehicle collided with a truck.
The accident was so severe that 21 workers died on the spot. The injured were taken to nearby hospitals where three more workers succumbed to their injuries.
The district magistrate of Varia said that most of the workers on board the truck were from Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal.
The crash happened around 3 a.m. Saturday. About 50 workers were on board the truck trailer. According to police, the accident took place when a truck collided with a DCM van coming from Delhi.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed regret over the incident and ordered top police officials to rush to the spot immediately.
On the other hand, former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav tweeted that he was deeply saddened by the accident and said that his party would pay Rs 100,000 to the families of the victims. He also appealed that the ruthless BJP government should give Rs 1 million to the families of each deceased.
