Floods triggered by heavy rains in the UAE state of Sharjah have killed four people, including two children.
Three people were killed when a flash flood swept away three vehicles in Sharjah's Al-Hilu Valley. Two siblings in a car were killed. The girl was 4 years old while the boy was one year old. The bodies of two 40-year-olds were found in another vehicle. One person in the same vehicle was rescued.
A third vehicle carrying five people was also swept away in the floods. Among them were a mother, father and three children. Rescuers rescued the five. According to the report, a total of 8 people were rescued by the rescue personnel while 4 people were killed.
