Back channel contacted Pakistan for the release of Clubbhushan and ... The lawyer of the Indian spy made a big claim

London (Web Desk) For the release of Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav, India made several backdoor channel contacts with Pakistan and requested for his release on humanitarian grounds but the demand was rejected by Pakistan.

According to Jang, the claim was made by Harish Salve, a lawyer representing India in the International Court of Justice. He said that contacts were made with Pakistan seven to eight times in this regard. Several letters were written to Pakistan. But he refused. In response to a question, Harish Salve told London that he hoped that we would not be able to persuade Pakistan by talking to the backdoor channel. We were talking about releasing them on humanitarian grounds but that did not happen.

In fact, the case of Clubbhushan Jadoo had become Anna's problem for Pakistan. We were hoping that they would release him but Pakistan did not release him. Indian National Security Adviser Ajit Dole approached then-Pakistani National Security Adviser Nasir Khan Janjua to show leniency and compassion for Pakistan to release Kulbhushan.
