Clashes between Indian and Chinese troops, several injured
A brief skirmish between Indian and Chinese troops during a border patrol in the northeastern Indian state of Sikkim, which borders China, has left several soldiers injured.

The Defense Ministry said in a statement that the clashes between the two sides had ended after talks at the local level.
The Indian newspaper Hindustan Times quoted military sources as saying that four Indian and seven Chinese soldiers were injured in the exchange of fire.
The incident took place on Saturday. About 150 troops were on the border at the time of the clash.
