About 1,500 new cases, 770 deaths in Pakistan

In the last 24 hours, 1,452 new corona cases have been reported in Pakistan while 33 deaths have occurred.
The death toll from the virus in Pakistan has risen to 770, according to official figures released on Thursday.
So far, a total of 35,788 cases of corona have been registered in the country, out of which 9,695 patients have recovered.
The number of affected people in Pakistan's Punjab province is 13,561, while 4,636 recovered and 223 died. The number of confirmed cases in Sindh is 13,341, 234 deaths have been recorded in the province so far while 2,835 patients have recovered.
The highest number of deaths in Pakistan was in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with 275 cases while there were 5,252 confirmed cases in the province. One thousand 392 patients have also recovered.
The death toll in Balochistan is 27, with more than 2,300 confirmed corona cases. Corona has claimed six lives in the Pakistani capital Islamabad and four in Gilgit-Baltistan.
