New Delhi: Police in India have written apology to 10 foreign tourists for violating lockdown five hundred times.



Foreign tourists:According to Indian media, 10 foreign tourists from various countries in the state of Uttarakhand's tourist destination Gangotri broke into police hands during a walk in violation of lockdown. The tourists not only violated the lockdown but also took no safety measures.



Inspector Vinod Kumar Sharma told the media that five hundred times 'I apologize for violating lockdown' to foreign tourists. These tourists neither wore masks nor kept distance from each other.

Foreign tourists:Police inspectors added that more than 500 foreign tourists are still staying at various Gangotri hotels and they often appear to violate the lockdown, which has been repeatedly warned and given a slight punishment today.



It may be recalled that last month, 21-day lockdown was completed in India, which has been extended for two more weeks, leaving hundreds of foreign tourists trapped in health facilities.
