Sandstorm wreaks havoc in Karachi

 A sandstorm wreaked havoc in Shar-e-Quaid, leaving everything covered in sand. Four people were killed and 18 were injured in the storm.

According to media reports, due to strong winds and sandstorms in Karachi, the life system was disrupted, darkness prevailed everywhere and people kept seeking shelter to hide from the sand. Severe cold winds accompanied by sandstorms reminded people of the cold in summer

Rescue sources said that a wall of a house in Saadi Town collapsed due to wind and storm in Karachi, as a result of which a woman was killed. One person was killed and two others were injured when a wall collapsed near Gulshan-e-Mamar Faqir Goth. One person was killed and two others were injured when the roof of a house collapsed in Gulshan-e-Maymar.

A fire broke out in a buffalo enclosure in Surjani Sector 9, killing several animals. SSP West Fida Hussain said that the fire started in straw due to strong winds. More than a dozen cattle have been reported killed in the fire
