Spy pigeons, trained locusts and ladies and gentlemen are now serving Pakistan Liberation Army

These are the words of Manahel Khan, a Twitter user who was referring to a program on the Indian talk show 'News R9'.

News anchor Navika Kumar of Times Now, India's leading news agency, aired a picture on her talk show three days ago which featured a PLA combat model.

Navika Kumar linked this model to Pakistan and named it 'Pakistan Liberation Army'. However, the PLA refers to the Chinese Armed Forces, known as the People's Liberation Army.

The incident has once again raised questions not only about the quality of journalism in India, but also about the shortcomings of local media talk shows in Pakistan.

As soon as you press the button on your TV remote, viewers in Pakistan and India enter a world where speaking loudly and dramatically has become a tradition.

These scenes are not from any well-known Pakistani drama or Bollywood film but from daily talk shows which have millions of viewers.

People on the social networking site Twitter also remember the army boat that the Federal Minister for Water Resources had brought in a talk show.

The obscene words used in the talk show and the videos of the guests receiving each other's pistols also continue to adorn social media.

A video of a talk show on India's private channel Republic TV recently went viral, where a guest invited from Pakistan threatened his Indian rival by showing him a model of a missile and shouted at him.

It was not possible for the guests from India not to respond and for the next two minutes Indian Sahib also showed a model of spear in response and responded to every verbal attack in Turkish.

The show's host Arnab Goswami did not intervene and kept laughing.

Arnab Goswami's controversial and fiery rhetoric is widely discussed on social media. A few days ago, the anchor of Republic TV claimed in his show that locust heart attacks are being carried out by Pakistan to destroy the fields in India.

Arnab did not stop there, saying that the locust was trained and sent to carry out terrorist acts.

Pratik Sinha, founder of Fake Alt News, asked, "If a former journalist of this private channel goes out in search of a job, what kind of journalistic success will he mention?"
