Identity cards are the identity of every Pakistani and recently Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar has taken drastic steps to eradicate fake IDs from the country which were essential for national security. According to the details, the first five digits of the beginning of the ID card number, for example (12101), the first number in it, i.e. (1) which indicates the province, ie the cards starting with the number 1 are Khyber. Residents of Pakhtunkhwa. Similarly, if your ID card number starts with 2, then you are a resident of FATA. Similarly, 3 for Punjab, 4 for Sindh, 5 for Balochistan, 6 for Islamabad and 7 for Gilgit-Baltistan. The second digit in this five digit code represents your division, for example in this code the second digit is the digit 2 which represents DI Khan while the other three digits represent your district, tehsil and union. The 7-digit code written in the middle indicates your family number, while the number after '-'at the end indicates your gender. For men, this number is always in the odd, for example (1,3) , 5,7,9.) And for women this number will be in pairs, for example (2,4,6,8)
