Nine more people died of corona virus in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday, bringing the death toll in the province to 398.


The health department said that in the last 24 hours, 220 new cases have come to light in the province after which the number of affected people has reached 7905.

So far, 2469 people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have recovered from the corona virus
According to the provincial health department, three people died of the virus in Malakand, two in Peshawar and Nowshera and one each in Mardan and Abbottabad.


A further 1860 cases and 33 deaths were reported from across the country on Sunday, including 846 cases from Sindh, 13 deaths and 220 cases and 9 deaths in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while 520 cases and 5 deaths were confirmed in Punjab.

12 cases and 3 deaths were reported from Gilgit-Baltistan, 135 cases from Islamabad, 2 deaths and 101 cases and one death from Balochistan while 26 cases were reported in Kashmir.

So far 28 more people have died in the country from Corona, bringing the total number of deaths to 1,164, while the number of patients has risen to 56,288 since new cases came to light.

The highest death toll so far is in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where 398 people have died in Corona, 367 in Sindh and 337 in Punjab.

In addition, 40 people died in Balochistan, 14 in Islamabad, seven in Gilgit-Baltistan and one in Azad Kashmir.
