Karachi: The mystery of the bodies of children found in a closed vehicle
Investigative police are searching for the deaths of two three- and four-year-olds who went missing in Karachi and how their bodies arrived in a closed vehicle.
Saeed, 3, and Obaid, 4, were both neighbors and their bodies were found in a car near Nusrat Bhutto Colony within the Manghopir police station.
The medical report and death certificate state that the cause of death of both the children was head injury which caused the heart to stop beating. According to the report, "the nature of the injury suggests that something heavy has been killed."
Police surgeon Dr Qarar Abbasi said the impression was wrong that the children had died of suffocation inside the vehicle, with clear signs of head injuries.
When did the children go missing?
According to SHO Inspector Gul Mohammad Awan of Manghopir Police Station, the children had been missing since May 10, when their parents approached them and advised them that the situation was not good, so they lodged an FIR. Filed a case of disappearance.

Bodies were recovered from the car
According to Obaid's uncle Omar Rehman, the car belonged to a neighbor and he had parked it near the road due to lockdown.
Police said that a car parked on the side of the road in Omar Colony was found to be rotten. The locals informed the police. The car was locked from inside. The windows were broken and the door was opened. The bodies of the two children were present.
According to Inspector Gul Mohammad Awan, one body was in the back seat of the car while the other was in the front and "it looked as if the children were crying and sleeping there."
According to Inspector Gul Mohammad Awan, he was told that "4-year-old Danish was fond of sitting in a car. He used to go and sit in parked cars at a nearby denting painting shop. The shopkeepers had complained to the parents to take care of the children." They come and go on the road so that no accident occurs.
The parents of both children are from Bajaur and Mardan areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. One works as spare parts and the other as sand and gravel.
Obaid's uncle Omar Rehman says that he has no enmity with anyone. He is from Bajaur while Danish's parents are residents of Mardan and have not had any unpleasant relations with the neighbors.
Inspector Awan says both are poor. "In this situation, it does not seem that the children have been abducted for any financial reason or ransom," he said.
Inspector Gul Mohammad Awan says it seems to be the result of personal animosity and animosity. "Sometimes in ordinary life people ignore small things but some take it to heart and mind and seek revenge," he said. Children are the target.
