ISLAMABAD: The number of confirmed cases of corona virus in Pakistan has reached 22,237 while 514 people have died


According to the data released by the National Command and Control, in the last 24 hours, 9857 people across the country were tested for corona while 548 people were diagnosed with the disease. The total number of patients has reached 22,27 out of which 5,801 have recovered so far.

Punjab has the highest number of 8133 patients while Sindh has 8189 patients. 3499 cases have been reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 386 in Gilgit, 1495 in Balochistan, 464 in Islamabad and 71 in Azad Kashmir.

Another 28 people were killed

In the last 24 hours, 28 more corona victims have lost their lives, bringing the death toll from the corona virus in the country to 514. 148 people were killed in Sindh, 144 in Punjab, 194 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 4 in Islamabad, 21 in Balochistan and 3 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Despite the van being empty, Dr. Furqan's life was not saved

Despite the availability of ICUs, beds and ventilators in public and private hospitals for the treatment of patients infected with the corona virus, the life of renowned Dr. Furqan-ul-Haq could not be saved.

The widow of the late Dr Farooq said that she kept trying to get him admitted from one hospital in Indus, Aga Khan and SIUT to another but she could not find a place in any hospital and died at the same time.
