Eight more people lost their lives in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday, bringing the total death toll in the province to 416.




According to the provincial health department, four people died in Swat, two in Peshawar, one each in Malakand and Bajaur.

The health department said that 179 new cases have been confirmed in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of infected patients to 8,259.

So far, 2,578 people have recovered from the corona virus.

 To date, 30 more people have died in Corona, bringing the total death toll to 1,211, while the number of patients has risen to 58,465 since new cases emerged.

The highest death toll so far has been in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where 416 people have died in Corona, 374 in Sindh and 352 in Punjab.

In addition, 41 people have died in Balochistan, 17 in Islamabad, nine in Gilgit-Baltistan and two in Azad Kashmir.
