Corona virus: more than 38,000 cases in Pakistan, 823 deaths

The number of deadly corona virus cases in Pakistan is increasing day by day and even today with the emergence of new cases, the total number of confirmed cases has reached 38,437 while the death toll has reached 823 but more than 10,000 patients have recovered.

According to official figures, 1649 new patients have been added so far.

It should be noted that the number of corona virus cases in the country is increasing by more than one thousand per day while the death rate is also increasing.

Today, on May 15, the number of new cases and deaths of Corona epidemic increased in the country, but the number of patients recovering from the virus also increased.

Sindh
According to Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, 817 more cases have been reported in the last 24 hours in the province, bringing the total number of cases to 14916.

The Sindh Chief Minister said that 12 more deaths have taken place in the province and the total number of deaths has reached 255.

He added that 535 people infected with the virus have recovered in the last 24 hours.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
According to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department, 255 more cases have been reported in the province in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases to 5,678.

According to figures released by the social networking site Twitter, seven more people have died in the province, bringing the total number of deaths in the province to 291.

It may be recalled that 108 more cases of Corona virus have been cured in the province and the total number of cured people has reached 1613 while the number of active cases is 3774.

Punjab
A further 353 cases of corona virus and 11 deaths were confirmed in Punjab.

According to the spokesperson of Primary and Secondary Health Care, after the addition of these new cases in the province, the total number reached 13914.

He said that 11 more deaths in the province brought the total number to 234 while 4,720 people recovered

Balochistan
The Balochistan Health Department confirmed 147 new cases of corona, bringing the total number of affected people in the province to 2,357.

The statement also confirmed that another patient had died from the virus, bringing the death toll to 31.

The department said that the number of active cases in the province is 2043 while 383 people have recovered.

Islamabad
The federal capital, Islamabad, has seen 44 new cases of corona epidemic and one death.

According to an official website, the total number of Corona victims in Islamabad has risen from 822 to 866.

Gilgit-Baltistan
In Gilgit-Baltistan, the number of cases is also increasing with the passage of time.

Another 19 people in Gilgit-Baltistan were affected by the epidemic, according to official figures.

Since then, the total number of affected people has increased from 482 to 501.

Azad Kashmir
Similarly, the number of cases in Azad Kashmir, the least affected area, has crossed 100.

In the last 24 hours, 14 more new victims were identified in Azad Kashmir, bringing the total number of cases to 105, the statistics said.
