Corona virus kills 30 Pakistanis in Saudi Arabia


The Corona virus outbreak in Saudi Arabia has affected 150 Pakistanis and killed 30 people, the Pakistani ambassador said during a video link meeting with the Pakistani community in Saudi Arabia chaired by Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi. Pakistani Ambassador Raja Ali Ijaz briefed the Foreign Minister on the situation of the Pakistani community in Saudi Arabia in the context of Corona and the steps taken in this regard.

On the occasion, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that more than 209 countries and states around the world have been affected by the corona virus and about 3.8 million people have been infected with the corona virus. The decision to provide facilities and not forcibly repatriate citizens of other countries is welcome. I thank them and I will also thank the Saudi Foreign Minister in a letter.
