Corona is gaining momentum in Pakistan and so far the total number of confirmed cases in Pakistan is 53,601 while the death toll has risen to 1,123.

So far today (May 23), the virus has been confirmed in 1,498 more people in the country, while the number of people recovering from the virus has risen, according to official figures provided by the Corona virus.

If we take a look at the overall situation in the country, 53,601 people have been affected so far out of which 1,123 have died while 16,653 have recovered. Thus, there are 35,825 active cases.

The number of corona virus cases in Sindh is 21,645 while 18,730 people have been infected in Punjab.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 7,685 people have been infected with the global epidemic, while in Balochistan, 3,306 people have been infected.

The number is 1,457 in Islamabad, 607 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 171 in Azad Kashmir.
