Another 166 deaths in UK hospitals

A further 166 deaths have been reported in hospitals in England due to code 19. The death toll in England now stands at 25,080.

A further 50 deaths have been reported in Scotland, bringing the total to 2,184.

Five more deaths have been reported in Northern Ireland and 14 more in Wales.

The total number of deaths in the UK will be announced shortly, which may differ from these figures as the collection time will vary and will include deaths in care homes.
