Afghan forces kill key Taliban commander in northern Kunduz province

Afghan security forces killed Habibullah Nasiri, a key Taliban commander in the northern province of Kunduz.
 According to foreign media, a senior Afghan police official, Sher Mohammad Parsa, confirmed that the Taliban commander and notorious Habibullah Nasiri, who was involved in terrorist attacks including targeted killings, was killed in Kunduz, the provincial capital. Nasiri's death could be a major blow to Taliban militants in Kunduz province.
 Taliban militants, on the other hand, have not yet commented on the report.
