Today 5 more deaths, 253 deaths from Corona, total cases 11940

Today, 204 cases of Corona have been reported from across the country and 5 deaths have also been reported

Five more people have died of the corona virus in Pakistan so far, bringing the total number of deaths to 253, while the number of confirmed cases has risen to 11,940 with the emergence of more new cases.

The highest death toll of 253 so far has been in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where 89 people have died from Corona.

In addition, 75 people died in Sindh, 73 in Punjab, 10 in Balochistan and three each in Gilgit-Baltistan and Islamabad.

The status of today's cases
As many as 204 cases and 5 deaths of corona virus have been reported from across the country so far this week, including 195 cases from Punjab, 5 deaths and 9 cases from Islamabad.

Punjab
To date, 195 more cases of Corona virus and 5 deaths have been reported from Punjab which have been reported on the official portal.

According to the portal, after new cases and deaths, the total number of cases in the province has risen to 5,046 and 73 deaths.

So far in Punjab, the number of people recovering from Corona has reached 925.

Islamabad
Nine more cases of corona virus have been reported in the federal capital today, which have been reported on the official portal.

According to the portal, the total number of cases in Islamabad has reached 223 while 3 people have died of the virus in the city so far.

Sindh
Another 274 cases of Corona and 2 deaths were reported in the province on Friday, which was confirmed by the Sindh Chief Minister.

With the emergence of new cases in Sindh, the number of patients infected with Corona has risen to 3,945, while 75 people have died from the virus.

Murad Ali Shah said that so far the number of people recovering from corona virus in Sindh has reached 772.

Balochistan
In Balochistan, 49 cases of corona were reported on Friday while two deaths were also reported which was confirmed by the health department.

The total number of corona virus patients in the province has reached 656 and the number of deaths has risen to 10.


According to the provincial health department, 177 Corona patients have recovered in Balochistan so far.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa reported 167 new cases and four deaths on Friday, bringing the death toll in the province to 89, bringing the total to 1,708.


In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 477 people have so far recovered from the corona virus.

Gilgit-Baltistan
In Gilgit-Baltistan, a deadly virus was confirmed in seven people on Friday, bringing the total number of infected people to 307, while 213 people have recovered so far.


According to the health department, the total number of people undergoing treatment in Gilgit is 91 and the recovery rate is more than 73%.

So far 3 people have died of corona virus in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Azad Kashmir
No case was reported in Azad Kashmir on Friday but four new cases of Corona virus were reported on Thursday which was confirmed by Azad Kashmir Focal Person for Corona Dr Mustafa Bashir.
