Taliban attack on security post in Tihar province kills 17 security personnel, injures 2

A Taliban attack on a military post at Khwaja Ghar Tehsil in Afghanistan's province has killed 17 security personnel.

According to a statement issued by the Afghanistan Ministry of Defense, the militants attacked a military post at Tepa Hwa Shinshi in the Khwaja Ghar area.

The attack left 17 security personnel dead and two wounded. The clash erupted after the attack, which also caused heavy casualties to the Taliban.

No statement has been released by the Taliban yet.
