237 deaths from Corona, total cases exceeded 11,000To date, 284 cases of corona have been reported from across the country The total number of deaths due to corona virus in Pakistan has risen to 237 while the number of confirmed cases has reached 11429 after more new cases came to light.

The highest death toll so far has been in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where 85 people have died from Corona.

In addition, 73 people died in Sindh, 65 in Punjab, eight in Balochistan and three each in Gilgit-Baltistan and Islamabad.

The status of today's cases
So far, 284 cases of corona virus have been reported from across the country on Friday, out of which 274 cases have been reported in Sindh and 10 in Islamabad.

Sindh
So far on Friday, 274 more cases of corona have come to light in the province which was confirmed by Murtaza Wahab.
With the emergence of new cases in Sindh, the number of patients infected with Corona has risen to 3,945 while 73 people have died from the virus.
According to Murtaza Wahab, the number of people recovering from corona virus in Sindh has reached 772 so far. According to the provincial health department, out of 73 deaths in the province, 67 deaths have been reported in Karachi.

Islamabad
Today, 10 more cases of corona virus have been reported in the federal capital which have been reported on the official portal.
According to the portal, the total number of cases in Islamabad has reached 214 while 3 people have died of the virus in the city so far.

Punjab
A further 177 cases of corona virus and 9 deaths were reported in Punjab on Thursday, bringing the number of deaths from corona in the province to 65.
According to Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar, the number of confirmed cases of corona in the province has reached 4767 while 905 people have so far recovered from the virus in the province.

Balochistan
In Balochistan, 55 more cases of corona were reported on Thursday, while two more deaths were reported, which was also confirmed by the health department.
The total number of corona virus patients in the province has reached 607 and the number of deaths has risen to eight.
According to the provincial health department, 175 Corona patients have recovered in Balochistan so far

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa reported 88 new cases and two deaths on Thursday, bringing the death toll in the province to 85, bringing the total to 1,541.
So far, 455 people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have recovered from the corona virus

Gilgit-Baltistan
In Gilgit-Baltistan, 10 more people were infected with the deadly virus on Thursday, bringing the total number of infected people to 300, while 212 people have recovered so far.
According to the health department, the total number of people undergoing treatment in Gilgit is 85 and the recovery rate is more than 73%.
So far 3 people have died from the Corona virus in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Azad Kashmir
Four new cases of corona virus were reported in Azad Kashmir on Thursday, which was confirmed by Dr Mustafa Bashir, Azad Kashmir's focal person for corona.
The number of Corona patients in the area has risen to 55 since new cases emerged.
